John Covert has served locally on the Building Industry Association of Central South Carolina’s Board of Directors, as Secretary, Vice President and President. John, along with his wife Tammy, serve their community and church which includes actively taking part in missions. John has one daughter who is currently enrolled at the University of South Carolina and has two sons who are both actively serving in our nation’s military.

John Covert was instrumental in spearheading a project with the help of the BIA and it’s membership providing pavilions at Fort Jackson. These pavilions now provide a space for families to gather while visiting their family members who are enrolled at the base. These pavilions will be greatly utilized by generations of families for many years to come.
